PrestaShop and the French e-invoicing reform
PrestaShop is one of the most popular e-commerce platforms in France, powering thousands of online stores across the country. As the French e-invoicing reform approaches its 2026-2027 deadlines (reception September 2026, emission September 2027 for SMEs), PrestaShop merchants will be required to generate invoices in the Factur-X format and transmit them to the tax authorities.

How the integration will work
The PrestaShop-Facturiz integration will leverage the PrestaShop Web Services API to synchronize your order and invoice data in real time.
Planned workflow
- Module-based connection: Install the Facturiz module directly from the PrestaShop marketplace for a simple, plug-and-play setup.
- Automatic invoice capture: Every time an order is validated and invoiced in PrestaShop, Facturiz will receive the data and begin processing.
- Legal data enrichment: Your SIRET number, VAT identification, buyer details, and all legally required mentions will be automatically added to each invoice.
- Factur-X generation: Invoices will be converted into PDF/A-3 documents with embedded CII XML metadata, fully meeting the European EN 16931 standard.
- Submission to the PPF: Compliant documents will be transmitted automatically to the Portail Public de Facturation for validation and archival.
E-reporting for B2C sales
Most PrestaShop transactions are B2C, which fall under e-reporting obligations rather than full e-invoicing. Facturiz will handle both scenarios, ensuring your B2C transaction data is properly reported to tax authorities while your B2B invoices are fully processed in Factur-X format.
